The HHSA is introducing the Australian Jumping, Dressage and Eventing Breeding Programs based on the equivalent successful programs in the Hannoveraner Verband and other daughter societies. The aim of these programs is to reward and promote the breeding of high-quality Australian Hanoverian and Rhineland Dressage, Jumping and Eventing horses with Performance results.

This program is designed to encourage and recognise the value of using proven performance mares and stallions that are also producing quality offspring proven in sport, displaying a desirable genetic predisposition. The Hanoverian breed ideals encourage breeding of horses with health, soundness and temperament to be successful in sport and these breeding programs reflect and reward these values. Breeders can use Breeding Program and star designations to enhance the prestige of their breeding program and value of offspring.

Mares accepted into the breeding programs will receive the exclusive name designation (example JBP***) which will be printed on their (future) offspring passports, receive a Breeding Program/Star Designation label for their own passport, and will be listed and recognised yearly on the HHSA website.
