Breeding with the best Hanoverian and Rhineland warmblood horses are consistently successful in the sport, and both studbooks have significant influence in the major performance studbooks of the world. The Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia adheres closely to the breeding guidelines for the Hanoverian and Rhineland horse, which can be found below. Consistent classification to international standards and selection of highest quality stallions and mares are the foundations for successful breeding programs. Our assessors are of international standing and undergo rigorous training in Germany to become approved by the German Hannoveraner Verband. Our breeders value the annual assessment tour with its opportunity for objective feedback on their mares and stallion choices.
